This intensive course covers specific taping strategies for critical areas such as the knee, shoulder, elbow, and achilles, addressing the unique needs and challenges of each. In addition to mastering these advanced techniques, participants will gain a solid grounding in basic anatomy, enhancing their understanding of the body’s mechanics and how taping can support and protect against injuries.

This course is perfect for individuals with some taping experience, such as sports professionals, coaches, and advanced first aiders, who are eager to expand their skill set and apply these techniques with confidence in high-stakes athletic environments.

You must have completed a Level 1 Sports Trainers Course or Level 1 Sports Taping Course to attend this session.

About your presenter – Scott Wilson

Scott is an experienced Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with over 20 years of elite sports experience. Including working with teams in the NRL, AFL and Australian Rugby Union, Ice Hockey, Water Polo and Combat Sports.

This course has a large practical component. Participants will leave with skills they can use straight away and will have plenty of practice within the session.

Course Delivery

This course is delivered at our dedicated training facility in Orange.  We can also deliver this onsite at your location on request.

Course Duration

Face to face session – No pre-course work. Minimum face to face time of 2 hours.

Entry Requirements

You must have completed a Level 1 Sports Trainers Course or Level 1 Sports Taping Course to enrol in this course. You will be required to upload evidence of this.

Certificate Renewal Requirements

This certificate has an industry recommended renewal period of 12 months

Assessment Activities

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete all practical tasks and contribute to group discussions.
