This course is Self Paced – It is expected students may complete the course within 4.5 hours (depending on experience levels).

Assessment Requirements
Learning content is provided in an online format within the course. Assessment activities consist of three (3) simulated performance tasks outlines below.
Please note in order to successfully complete the performance tasks you will be required to supply the following materials, tools, equipment (e.g. a ladder or drill, signage and barricade) and personal protective equipment (PPE) currently used in industry and a first aid kit (for a minor burn, cut or an abrasion).
- Complete a risk assessment and upload a video outlining the hazards identified and the control measures to be implemented
- Conduct a risk assessment and upload a video to demonstrate safe work practices
- Provide emergency first aid treatment for a minor injury
Complete the following documentation:
- Two (2) Risk Assessment forms
- One (1) Incident Report form
Complete a theory assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
